FEISOL Mini Carbon Tripod

TT-15 Mark ll

Rugged lightweight stability, for the table or any other surface!

Have you ever seen the cameras on small tripods in the goalmouth on a football match just waiting for the ball to thunder into the net?
Well the chances are that the tripod the camera is on is a Feisol!
This little beauty is what the pros turn to for anything that requires low down, stable photography.

This Table Top Tripod is perfect for point-and-shoot, mirrorless and DSLR cameras. Add our CB-30D Ball Head for a perfect match.

The brand new FEISOL TT-15 Mark 2 delivers customary FEISOL ultra-lightweight design and incredible stability at the height of only 15 cm. It sets up in seconds to provide a stable shooting platform which can be used in- and outdoors.

Constructed of top-rigidity Carbon Fibre and CNC-milled solid block Aluminium components, this tripod is designed to effortlessly handle loads up to 8 kg.

Review Below:
"The small table tripod costs around 60 to 77 euros, (2018 MK I) depending on where you buy it. So it is certainly not a bargain, but incredibly stable and very high-quality workmanship."

***** NOTE: THIS IS THE TT-15 NOT THE MK II

5.0 out of 5 stars My little new friend — the little Feisol TT-15 with the NOVOFLEX MagicBall FREE

Feisol, a tripod brand known to me but somehow not attractive. Now probably the smallest Feisol, the Feisol TT-15, has become my loyal companion.

My previous, and my faithful readers know that, constant “companion tripod”, was the Manfrotto Pixi. Unfortunately, this with my Panasonic G9 and my two quite large telezooms, the Olympus 40-150 2.8 Pro and the Panasonic Leica 100-400, is somewhat overwhelmed and tends to tilt and the head has also arrived at the load limit. In the last photo sniff about the Colorclass Lofoten with my friend Christian Ohlig he told me about his Feisol TT-15. That made me curious and I ordered it.

Box contents:
The small Feisol TT-15 comes with a small fabric nylon bag in which the small tripod with a suitable ball head is included. can be stored very well and so can also be easily stored in a lens compartment of the photo bag or in the photo backpack. In addition, some tools are included for the Allen screw with which you can attach the head.

Material:
The legs of the small tripod are made of carbon. So it's definitely the smallest and most handy carbon tripod I've ever seen. The shoulder, or also called the base, is made of high quality metal and painted black. The material seems to me to be aluminum. The feet are made of very sturdy but non-slip rubber and firmly attached to the carbon legs.

Dimensions and weight:
for the small pocket tripod you don't need a large ruler to measure it. For this, the usual desk ruler is good enough.

practice test and first experiences:
I had the tripod on one of the last weekends on the Belgian coast and I had it in the sand of the dunes experimented. The part sits “bomb”. The small handy tripod sits like a rock in the surf. Enough with flat sample sentences. But the small Feisol TT-15 really does what it promises. It has an incredible load capacity, does not vibrate, does not warp and stands extremely firmly. Without a head it is not useful to use in my opinion, and therefore depending on the tripod head used, there may be the weakest link. In my case, with the NOVOFLEX MagicBall Free I have no worries here, the same as the Feisol TT-15 what it should hold and also carries the 100-400 mm Panasonic Leica at the 400mm end (with KB this is 800mm!!!) absolutely without twitching and vibrating.

Of course, the small table or pocket tripod does not replace a large tripod. Nevertheless, almost everywhere there is a wall or a post or a bonnet or a stable post on which you can put the small tripod and you can turn it into a “big” tripod. I will have the little Feisol with me in the coming weeks in Northern Norway and I am curious how often I have the big NOVOFLEX TrioPod Pro 75 (my favorite tripod!) will still use?!

Value for money:
The small table tripod costs around 60 to 77 euros, (2018 MKI) depending on where you buy it. So it is certainly not a bargain, but incredibly stable and very high-quality workmanship. If I compare this with the Leica “Schicki-Micki-Tripod”, it's even a bargain and uneven more stable.

My personal conclusion:
buying — having the part in your pocket is not a mistake!
